VIDEO: Letterman Argues with Brian Williams Over Christie's 'Bridgegate' Scandal

On last night's Late Show with David Letterman on CBS host David Letterman took on NBC's "Nightly News" anchor Brian Williams over his insistence that the Scandal surrounding Gov. Chris Christie (R-NJ) was important to the American public and not only to those who reside in New Jersey.

"You and I disagree on this," Letterman said. "I believe that people - everybody west of New Jersey, everybody north and south of New Jersey - I believe doesn't care."

He continued, "This is not a man soliciting bribes like [former Illinois Gov. Rod] Blagojevich was convicted of. He's not soliciting bribes. He's claiming something happened he knew nothing about. And what it was was a traffic delay. I think that this doesn't hold up the further west you go."
