Usain Bolt's Final Olympic Race Highlights Tonight's OLYMPICS Coverage on NBC

NBC's primetime coverage of the Games of the xxI Olympiad continues today, Friday, August 19, at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and features what could be eight-time gold medalist Usain Bolt's last career Olympic race, as he anchors Jamaica's 4x100m relay team against Justin Gatlin and the U.S. The women's 4x100m relay will feature two-time individual Rio medalist Tori Bowie - and likely Allyson Felix - as the Americans look for their second consecutive Olympic title in an event that figures to be another U.S.-Jamaica showdown. TRACK AND FIELD coverage also includes the women's pole vault, the men's hammer throw and the women's 5000m.

Also Friday in primetime, American David Boudia competes in men's platform diving qualifying. Boudia aims to become the first back-to-back men's platform diving gold medalist since American Greg Louganis repeated in 1988.

Daytime coverage on NBC begins at 10 a.m. ET/PT with EQUESTRIAN individual jumping gold medal final rounds, followed by team synchronized swimming gold medal finals. Coverage continues when the U.S. men's volleyball team faces Italy in a semifinal matchup at 12:10 p.m. ET/PT, followed by gold medal finals in BMX cycling and women's water polo as the U.S. takes on Italy at 2 p.m. ET/PT.

NBCSN also hosts coverage of men's freestyle wrestling as reigning Olympic champion Jordan Burroughs aims to become the third U.S. freestyle wrestler to win consecutive gold medals at 11 a.m. ET. Men's freestyle wrestling coverage moves to CNBC for the gold medal finals at 5 p.m. ET.

The women's soccer gold medal match between Sweden and Germany highlights Friday's NBCSN coverage at 4:30 p.m. ET. NBCSN's coverage begins at 7 a.m. ET with the men's 50k walk, and continues with semifinal matchups in men's basketball with U.S. against Spain at 2:15 p.m. ET and men's handball as Poland takes on Denmark at 7:30 p.m. ET. Friday's coverage concludes with gold medal finals in women's boxing and taekwondo at 11:15 p.m. ET.

MSNBC kicks off coverage with the women's badminton singles gold medal match at 11 a.m. ET, followed by women's soccer when Brazil battles Canada in the bronze medal match at Noon ET. Coverage wraps with women's field hockey as Netherlands takes on Great Britain for the gold at 4 p.m. ET.

USA Network presents bronze medal matches in women's water polo at 10:20 a.m. ET, followed by women's field hockey at 11:30 a.m. ET. CNBC hosts coverage a men's basketball semifinal matchup between Australia and Serbia at 6 p.m. ET.

Golf Channel on Friday features third round coverage of the women's golf competition beginning at 6:30 a.m. ET, where Korea's Inbee Park (10-under, Leader) and the United States' Stacy Lewis (9-under, 2nd) are atop the leaderboard halfway through the event. The youngest player in the field, 18-year-old Aditi Ashok of India, is currently 6-under (T-8th) and vying to win her country's second medal in Rio.

Friday, Telemundo and NBC UNIVERSO simulcast live coverage of the women's soccer gold medal match as Sweden faces Germany at 4 p.m. ET.

SATURDAY, AUGUST 20

NBC's primetime coverage on Saturday, August 20, begins at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and features the penultimate day of TRACK AND FIELD competition as Allyson Felix is expected to lead the U.S. in the women's 4x400m relay, with the Americans vying for their sixth consecutive gold medal in the event. TRACK AND FIELD coverage also includes the heavily favored U.S. in the men's 4x400m relay, featuring LaShawn Merritt, the 400m bronze medalist in Rio and 2008 gold medalist; five-time Olympian Bernard Lagat in the men's 5000m final; and Vashti Cunningham, daughter of former NFL quarterback Randall Cunningham, in the women's high jump final.

Primetime coverage continues with the women's volleyball gold medal matchup between Serbia and China, and the men's platform diving gold medal final, where David Boudia is expected to contend for his second straight Olympic title.

NBC presents gold medal finals coverage beginning at 10 a.m. ET/PT with the women's triathlon, immediately followed by canoe/kayak at 12:15 p.m. ET/PT, women's basketball at 2:30 p.m. ET/PT, and men's water polo 4:45 p.m. ET/PT.

Men's soccer highlights NBCSN's Saturday coverage. Coverage kicks off when Honduras faces Nigeria in the bronze medal match at Noon ET, followed by the gold medal final match between Brazil and Germany at 4:30 p.m. ET. Brazil seeks redemption for the host nation's ultimate soccer humiliation: its senior team's 7-1 defeat to Germany on home soil in the semifinals of the 2014 World Cup.

MSNBC's coverage begins with the women's volleyball bronze medal match as the U.S. battle the Netherlands at Noon ET for a spot on the podium, and continues with the men's singles badminton bronze medal match and the women's handball gold medal final at 2:30 p.m. ET.

USA Network presents coverage of several bronze medal matchups beginning with women's basketball at 10:30 a.m. ET, followed by men's water polo and women's handball at 12:15 p.m. ET. Coverage continues on usa network at 2:15 p.m. ET with the rhythmic gymnastics individual all-around gold medal final and the men's singles badminton gold medal match.

Gold medal finals coverage continues on usa network at 8 p.m. ET with boxing, men's freestyle wrestling, and taekwondo at 10 p.m. ET.

Golf Channel presents Final Round coverage of the women's golf competition, beginning at 6 a.m. ET, with the leaders concluding their final round around 2:30 p.m. ET in quest of a place on the medal stand.

The men's soccer gold medal final match between Brazil and Germany, a 2014 World Cup semifinals rematch in which Germany won 7-1, highlights Telemundo's coverage on Saturday at 11 a.m. ET.
