BWW recently reported that ABC's country music-themed drama NASHVILLE was officially picked up for a fifth season by CMT. According to The Hollywood Reporter however, two of the show's regular cast members, Aubrey Peeples and Tony nominee Will Chase will no longer appear on the series.

Sources tell THR that the two actors will most likely be the only cast members who will not return to the show. Chase portrayed Luke Wheeler, a fictional country music star and one-time love interest to Connie Britton's Rayna.

Yesterday, Chase turned to Twitter with a cryptic message about his exit and his future plans. Check out the post below:

The actor most recently appeared on Broadway in the revival of The Mystery of Edwin Drood and on television as Michael Swift on the NBC series "Smash."
