Telemundo announced today it has partnered with NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution to launch a new co-branded weekly segment called "Access Hollywood Al Rojo Vivo," to air every Friday on Telemundo' s highly-rated news magazine "Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste" (5PM/4C). Hosted by entertainment reporter Jessica Carrillo, "Access Hollywood Al Rojo Vivo" is produced in Los Angeles and represents one more example of collaboration across the different NBCUniversal brands.
"It's an unbeatable combination: 'Access Hollywood,' the country's number one entertainment news magazine, and 'Al Rojo Vivo,' Telemundo' s highest-rated news magazine," said Alina Falcon, Executive Vice President, News and Alternative Programming. "Hispanics are huge consumers of entertainment news so we are very excited to bring this great brand and content to our audience across the country."
A native from Jalisco, Mexico, Jessica Carrillo joined Telemundo almost a decade ago as news anchor in Las Vegas. She then became entertainment reporter for several Telemundo local news casts including Dallas, Arizona, and Las Vegas, among others, and for the network's entertainment show "Cotorrreando." Most recently, she was entertainment reporter at Telemundo's Los Angeles station KVEA.
"'Access Hollywood' is the trend-setter and leader in entertainment news and we are excited to extend our unique style to 'Al Rojo Vivo' exposing our brand to Telemundo's Hispanic audience," said Rob Silverstein, Executive Producer of "Access Hollywood."
Hosted by Emmy® Award-winning journalist María Celeste Arrarás, "Al Rojo Vivo con María Celeste" sets the news and entertainment agenda for Hispanic audiences. Telemundo's acclaimed news magazine is on the leading edge of breaking news with captivating stories.
"Access Hollywood," currently in its 18th season in national syndication, is an entertainment news magazine that provides viewers with the latest Hollywood news, in-depth celebrity interviews, and behind-the-scenes accounts of the most important events in Hollywood.
