Telemundo Wins Seven 2015 PromaxBDA Latin America Awards

Telemundo won seven awards at the 2015 PromaxBDA Latin America Awards on Thursday, October 15. Thanks to its fresh new approach to campaign development, writing and design, the network received Gold Awards in the "Entertainment/Music/Variety Promotion" category for the Billboard Latin Music Awards Promo Campaign and in the "Promotional Interactive Applications" category for the "El Señor de los Cielos" Facebook App, which brought viewers face to face with Aurelio Casillas himself.

The network also received a Silver Award for the "El Señor de los Cielos" Multimedia Image Campaign in the category for "General Image Campaign Using Multiple Media." Additionally, Telemundo received four Bronze Awards for "Content Promotion," including "Program Promotional Campaign - In-House" for the "El Señor de los Cielos" Promo Campaign, "Funniest Promo" for the Miguel Varoni Billboard Latin Music Awards spot, "Social Media Campaign" for the "El Señor de los Cielos" Social Media Jail Stunt, and "Promotional/Premium Items" for the "El Señor de los Cielos" Comic Book. Both the social media 'jail stunt' and comic book are first-time innovations for the network.

The PromaxBDA awards celebrate excellence, creativity and innovation in media marketing, from promotion and design to branding and interactive, and are voted on by the PromaxBDA Board of Directors and a select group of past Gold award winners.
