Telemundo Ranks as #1 Spanish-Language Network for 9 Consecutive Weeks

Telemundo announced today it has ranked as the #1 Spanish-language television network during Monday-Friday 7-11pm, continuing its historic winning streak in Spanish-language television for the ninth consecutive week, according to Nielsen. Fueled by the success of its new primetime series lineup, Telemundo delivered 872,000 adults 18-49, outperforming Univision by 26% (693K).

For the first time ever, during the week of September 12, Telemundo outperformed Univision and Unimás combined during Monday-Friday 8-11pm among adults 18-49 (953K vs. 882K).

The network also delivered its highest-rated season ever in Monday-Friday primetime, with 1.7 million total viewers, up 4% from last year. This also marks Telemundo's second consecutive season as the #1 Spanish-language television network Monday-Friday at 10pm among adults 18-49. This season, Telemundo had the smallest gap ever with a 66% reduction vs last year among total viewers (379,000) and adults 18-49 (164,000), coming closer than ever to Univision in Monday-Friday 7-11pm.
