TOP GUN, Starring Tom Cruise, Arrives on Digital HD Today

The pop culture touchstone that captured the imagination of moviegoers around the world celebrates its 30th anniversary as TOP GUN arrives today on Digital HD from Paramount Home Media Distribution. With loads of special features available digitally for the first time, the Digital HD release also includes brand new interviews with Tom Cruise and producer Jerry Bruckheimer recorded in 2016 to mark the film's 30th anniversary.

TOP GUN was originally released on May 16, 1986 and ultimately earned a worldwide box office of over $350 million. Tom Cruise is superb as the cocky but talented pilot Maverick and Kelly McGillis sizzles as the civilian instructor who teaches him a few things you can't learn in a classroom. Featuring a sensational soundtrack with unforgettable songs including Berlin's "Take My Breath Away" and Kenny Loggins' "Danger Zone", the film also stars Val Kilmer, Anthony Edwards and Meg Ryan.

TOP GUN is also available in a Limited Edition Blu-ray Combo Steelbook. The Combo Pack includes access to a Digital HD copy of the film that can be redeemed through iTunes, along with the new interviews with Cruise and Bruckheimer.
