With every new year comes a need for transformations, and new series STYLE BY JURY is helping TLC make over Friday nights, premiering tonight, February 20th. The show features fashion felons accused of committing some of the most terrible "style crimes" as they are put on trial. The fashion suspects will be secretly critiqued behind a two-way mirror by a jury of their peers, and confronted with what kind of first impression their physical appearance is making to the outside world.

In the series premiere, 44 year-old working mom Sloane is put on trial for committing "fashion negligence." Since being married, Sloane has put her 11 year-old daughter, her husband and work, first. While Sloane's husband describes her fashion sense as frumpy, she has convinced herself that she doesn't have time to worry about her own appearance. However, the evidence is mounting, exhibit A: a pair of tattered and torn jeans that Sloane wears for both casual and dress-up occasions.

Style experts and co-hosts Preston Konrad and Louise Roe first have Sloane put on a full-body suit, which helps her learn where her waistline truly is, and what other parts of her body could be accentuated with the help of a new wardrobe. Preston and Louise walk her through various outfits to further educate her on what works and what doesn't for her body type and style. The make-over is concluded by a hair and makeup overhaul, where she will learn how to apply makeup in a quick 10 minute routine, convenient for her working schedule. Sloane has been completely transformed, but what will the brand new jury say her 2nd time on the stand? And can she keep it up after the show is over?
