THE TALK to Honor Daytime Emmy Awards, 4/27

CBS's Daytime Emmy Award-nominated talk show THE TALK will salute "The 42nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards" with a special show dedicated to daytime television's biggest night, Monday, April 27, 2015 (2:00 PM, ET/1:00 PM, PT), on the CBS Television Network. THE TALK hosts Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood will be joined live in-studio by some of the night's biggest winners for a post-Emmy celebration. This year marks the fourth time THE TALK has paid tribute to Daytime Emmy winners from across the daypart on the show the following day.

Also on Monday, lifestyle expert Chi-Lan Lieu will showcase the hottest award show swag.

Two encores of this special episode of THE TALK will air on Pop on Monday, April 27 (8:00 and 11:30 PM, ET/PT), featuring some of the night's biggest winners. The "42nd Annual Daytime Emmy® Awards" ceremony airs live exclusively on Pop on Sunday, April 26 (8:00 PM, ET/5:00 PM, PT).

CBS's THE TALK, recently nominated for seven Daytime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Talk Show-Entertainment and Outstanding Talk Show Host, features a panel of well-known news and entertainment personalities discussing current events, pop culture, contemporary issues, family, celebrity and the trending topics of the day. The daily one-hour series is hosted by Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood and Aisha Tyler. The hosts swap stories, challenge each other on issues and engage the studio audience and viewers at home about events in the headlines and their own homes. Show segments include guest interviews with entertainers and newsmakers, musical performances, cooking demos with celebrity chefs as well as real-world advice and tips from leading experts in fitness, diet, health, home, relationships, finance and fashion. The show was developed by Gilbert, who also serves as executive producer.
