Oscar Isaac, Jason Clarke Sign on for MOJAVE by Atlas Independent

Atlas Independent, the affiliate company of Charles Roven's Atlas Entertainment, and William Monahan's Henceforth Pictures have locked acclaimed actors Oscar Isaac (The Bourne Legacy) and Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty) to star in the leading roles of Atlas Independent's fourth production, William Monahan's original thriller Mojave.

Monahan is directing the feature from his original screenplay and will produce alongside Atlas Independent's William Green. Atlas' Andy Horwitz and Henceforth Pictures' Justine SuzAnne Jones will executive produce. The plot is being kept under wraps.

Oscar Isaac most recently completed filming the lead role in the independent film Therese Raquin with Elizabeth Olsen and Jessica Lange, as well as Joel and Ethan Coen's Inside Llewyn Davis. His recent features also include The Bourne Legacy for Universal Pictures, Drive opposite Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan, Zack Snyder's Sucker Punch and Atlas Independent's first film, Revenge for Jolly! His original song "Never Had," which he wrote and performs in the upcoming film Ten Years, is generating Academy Award® consideration buzz.

Jason Clarke can currently be seen in the coveted lead role of Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty and will next be seen in a key role of Baz Luhrmann's adaptation of The Great Gatsby. He recently wrapped production on Terrence Malick's Green Blade Rises and Roland Emmerich's White House Down. He was most recently seen in John Hillcoat's critically acclaimed period drama Lawless, opposite Tom Hardy and Shia LaBeouf.

A dramatist, director and novelist, William Monahan recently completed the screenplay for THE GAMBLER for Martin Scorsese at Paramount, and Robert Rodriguez's SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR. He won an Academy Award® for Best Adapted Screenplay for THE DEPARTED, directed by Martin Scorsese, which earned four Oscars®, including Best Picture. His Production Company, Henceforth Pictures, is involved in motion picture and television production in the United States and United Kingdom.

Production for Mojave begins first quarter 2013.
