It was confirmed by the official Netflix OITNB Twitter handle this morning that the second season of the hit Netflix original series, ORANGE IS THE NEW BLACK, premieres on Friday, June 6, 2014.

Early fans who finished the last episode from season two of the Netflix original series HOUSE OF CARDS were treated to a surprise date announcement at the end of the episode during post play.

All 13 episodes will be available to stream at launch in all territories where Netflix is available.

Produced by Lionsgate Television, Jenji Kohan's hour-long series starring Taylor Schilling, and based on the popular memoir of the same name by Piper Kerman, debuted its first 13-episode season on Thursday, July 11, 2013. The series also stars Jason Biggs, Laura Prepon, Kate Mulgrew, Michael Harney, Michelle Hurst, Maria Dizzia, and Natasha Lyonne.
