On this episode of ONCE UPON A TIME, the Snow Queen's evil plan was finally revealed! Determined for answers, the gang splits up in search of the Snow Queen. Regina, Emma, and Hook take to the woods, where they find the Snow Queen's ice cream truck. But instead of ice cream, they discover a file full of pictures and news clippings from Emma's life; she'd been tracking Emma since she landed in our world!

In a flashback to Belle's younger years, we discover that at one point Belle had no recollection of her mother's death. After doing a little research, she decides to go to Arendalle and speak to the rock trolls, whom she believes will be able to restore her memories. She ends up meeting Anna in the same supply store from Disney's FROZEN, and the two quickly become friends. Belle tells Anna of her desire to speak with the rock trolls, and Anna offers to take her to the trolls herself. Luckily, Granpapi, the head troll of sorts, comes through for both Belle and Anna. He gives Belle a magical stone, which after being placed in a kettle will return her memories. Granpapi is also able to give Anna some insight into the Snow Queen's past, stating that she was indeed her mother's sister. But Ingrid (the Snow Queen) and Anna's mother's other sister, Helga, disappeared in their childhoods, causing pain for all of Arendalle. Therefore, Granpapi took away the memories of Ingrid and Helga from the residents of Arendalle so they would not have to grieve the lost sisters.

On the way back from their visit with the rock trolls, Anna and Belle find themselves in a dire situation; the ice cliffs they are climbing begin to break, leaving Anna hanging onto one for dear life. Unfortunately, the stone containing Belle's memories of her mother fell to the other end of the ice cliff, giving Belle the choice between saving Anna's life and saving her memories. Belle chooses the stone, and Anna falls from the cliff and lands in a snow bank. Out of the blue, the Snow Queen appears and kidnaps Anna with magic, leaving a dumbfounded Belle on the cliff. Now we know where Anna is- she has been under the Snow Queen's captivity this entire time!

In the file from the Snow Queen's ice cream truck, Emma also finds a scroll with runic writing on it, which Elsa later explains outlines a prophecy. Not surprisingly, Emma is included in the prophecy as "the savior", and states the savior will eventually become the Snow Queen's sister. The gang figures the Snow Queen believes in this prophecy, and wants to turn the resident's of Storybrooke against one another using a spell from her Magic Mirror, which will make everyone want to go to war and destroy themselves. That way, no one will be left in Storybrooke but Emma, Elsa, and the Snow Queen, giving her the perfect family she always wanted.

Well, Ingrid is completely out of her mind for believing in such a silly prophecy! She is obviously trying to recreate her relationship with her sisters using Emma and Elsa, but the whole thing is just ridiculous. Elsa is Ingrid's NIECE, not sister, and Emma isn't even related to them! Who wrote this prophecy in the first place? Why would someone even predict that Emma would become the Snow Queen's sister? This prophecy thing seems pretty sketchy to me, so I hope more is clarified for us next week.

So now we know Anna is a prisoner to the Snow Queen, which is just awful. But, where exactly is she? Since the Snow Queen is in Storybrooke could Anna be locked away somewhere in town? Unless Ingrid can cross worlds easily, I doubt she'd keep Anna in the Enchated Forest or in Arendalle. Anna's location could be right under our noses!

I'm not quite sure how I feel about the Snow Queen's character in general. She seems like a pretty weak villain in the scheme of things, considering her motives are more ridiculous than evil. ONCE villains like Regina or Peter Pan were so interesting to watch because they were pure evil, and you were afraid of them. I can't quite be afraid of the Snow Queen yet, but I'm hoping she proves me wrong.

Will the Snow Queen's plan for Storybrooke ever be realized? Keep tuning in to ONCE UPON A TIME, Sundays on ABC 8pmEST!
