NBC's TONIGHT SHOW Matches 14-Week High in Adults 18-49

NBC's "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has scored a six-week high in adults 18-49 and equaled its best 18-49 rating in the past 14 weeks, with dominant results for the late-night ratings week of July 13-17. In total viewers, it was the most-watched week of "The Tonight Show" in 14 weeks.

NBC also got four-week highs in 18-49 and total viewers from "Late Night with Seth Meyers" and a four-week high in 18-49 and an 11-week high in total viewers from encores of "Last Call with Carson Daly."

"Tonight's" strong week was keyed by the Tuesday, July 14 telecast (with guests LeBron James, Tina Fey & Amy Poehler and musical guest OMI, with Mark Rivera sitting in with The Roots), which delivered a 1.14 in adults 18-49 and 4.139 million viewers overall. In 18-49, it was "Tonight's" top-rated telecast since Tuesday, June 2 (1.14) and equaled the "Tonight" high since Tuesday, May 19 (1.16). In total viewers, it was Fallon's most-watched telecast since Friday, March 20 (4.153 million, with guests Jeremy Piven, Ariana Grande and Joshua Topolsky, with Andy Summers sitting in with The Roots).

Versus his prior week of originals, Fallon grew by +12% in 18-49 rating (1.00 vs. 0.89 for the week of June 22-26) and +18% in total viewers (3.740 million vs. 3.172 million), while Meyers increased by +5% in 18-49 (0.44 vs. 0.42 for June 22-16) and +9% in total viewers (1.479 million vs. 1.356 million).

Fallon's 1.00 rating in adults 18-49 for the week was his high since the week of June 1-5 (1.00) and equaled his high since April 6-10 (1.06). "Tonight's" 3.740 million viewers overall was a high since April 6-10 (3.915 million).

Meyers' 0.44 rating in 18-49 and 1.479 million viewers overall last week were his best results in both measures since June 15-19 (0.47 in 18-49, 1.503 million viewers overall).

Daly's 0.26 in 18-49 was his best since June 15-19 (0.27) and his 831,000 viewers overall was a "Last Call" high since April 27-May 1 (845,000).
