Back for a third season, GEORGE TO THE RESCUE finds home improvement guru George Oliphant tackling home renovation projects across America, offering help and hope to deserving families. George's first 'renovation rescue' revolves around the Clark family in Brooklyn, N.Y. The premiere episode airs locally on NBC 4 New York on Saturday, March 24th at 10AM. Viewers in other markets should check local listings for airtimes.

The latest installment of George to the Rescue introduces Anita Clark, a single-mom and 25-year veteran of the NYPD who devotes herself to caring for her daughter and mother. A first-time home owner after winning an affordable housing lottery that set the family up in Brooklyn, N.Y., Clark has since realized that a dream which was once a blessing quickly turned into a nightmare. Faulty plumbing below the sidewalks and streets surrounding Clark's home led to massive backups which eventually brought floods into the first floor of the house. With her own bedroom on the first floor, it is Anita's sanctuary that received the most damage.

George and his team set out to fix the damage from underground as well as renovate Anita's bedroom and back deck for the 90th Precinct officer. George receives help from Eamon Roche from Roundtable Builders, Barbra Moore from B Moore Design and local unions from New York City. Tune in on Saturday, March 24th to catch the single mom get back her dream home.

The following Saturday, in the second episode of the season, George and his team find themselves in the legendary Orpheum Theater on Second Avenue, the home of the off-Broadway show STOMP since 1994. Although the production has held over 5,000 performances in the theater, the Orpheum itself had deteriorated a bit. The iconic St. Mark's Place venue housed small and dingy dressing rooms and bathrooms, often hindering the flow of production and performance. The cast and crew of the popular percussion show wrote in to George to the Rescue for some help. George and his team promised to deliver better conditions in the dressing rooms and revamped bathrooms for the STOMP family. Tune in on Saturday, March 31st to watch George bang the STOMP drums and transform the dressing rooms into a home the cast and crew will love.

"This new season of George to the Rescue brings big emotions, over the top surprises and reveals," says Andrew Scerbo, Supervising Producer of George to the Rescue. "The sky's the limit when it comes to projects this season. Viewers can look forward to tears of joy, laughter, helpful home improvement tips, and of course lots of demolition!"

Upcoming episodes take George and his team to Patchogue, NY where a family of thirteen asked for help. Bob and Barbara Mongillo had six children of their own, but had the hearts to start adopting special needs children into their family. Although the Mongillo family is complete with a loving and nurturing environment, their outdated bathrooms do not provide the accessibility for their adoptive children with medical needs. Keep up with George to the Rescue to watch the team renovate the Mongillo home and transform their bathrooms into a safe and accessible home for this family of thirteen. In additional episodes, celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson teams up with George to help renovate the community kitchen at Grosvenor YMCA. The Y is launching a program called "Salsa, Sabor Y Salud" to engage the community in cooking classes and nutritional education. With the guidance of general contractor and TV personality, Stephen Fanuka, George and his team will provide a fully renovated kitchen to help the program succeed in educating the community about the importance of a healthy meal and nutrition programs.
