NBC Sports Group heads to the Midwest for XFINITY Series racing from Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. With Sprint Cup racing on hiatus until the August 20th night race from Bristol, the XFINITY Series has the stock car spotlight this weekend at one of America's classic road courses. Elliott Sadler and Daniel Suarez each have one victory and 668 and 657 points, respectively. Blake Koch currently holds that twelfth Chase spot by just two points over Ross Chastain. Dakoda Armstrong (-9 points) and Jeremy Clements (-14 points) enter this weekend's race within striking distance.

NBC Sports kicks off its weekend coverage on usa network Friday with qualifying at 6 p.m. ET. Saturday's race day coverage kicks off with Countdown to Green at 3 p.m. ET, followed by green-flag racing at 3:30 p.m. ET. After the checkered flag is captured, USA presents a post-race show to wrap up the on-site coverage from Lexington, Ohio.
