A second project for Jason Bateman is now brewing at NBC.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has given the ARRESTED DEVELOPMENT comedy TWO TO GO a pilot order.

The project, from David Janollari, Jim Garavente, and Bateman, "centers on long-time best friends Kurt and Laura as they grapple with the challenges of modern-day dating while their group of friends try and prove that they are destined to be together."

GROWING UP FISHER, which Bateman also produced, premieres next month on NBC.

Bateman made his film directorial debut at this year's Toronto International Film Festival with Bad Words, in which he also starred. Bateman has also directed episodes of the TV series Arrested Development, For Your Love, Two of a Kind, Brother's Keeper, Family Matters and Valerie.

His upcoming acting projects include This Is Where I Leave You and Horrible Bosses 2. He is well known for his portrayal of 'Michael Bluth' on Netflix's Arrested Development. Past film credits include Identity Thief, Horrible Bosses, Couples Retreat, The Invention of Lying, Up in the Air, State of Play, Hancock, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Juno and more.
