NBA Primetime on ABC Delivers Highest-Rated NBA Regular-Season Game Since 2013

This weekend's edition of NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC presented by La Quinta, in which the 53-5 Golden State Warriors defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder in an overtime thriller, delivered a 3.9 overnight rating, according to Nielsen. This is the highest-rated NBA regular-season game (non-Christmas) across all networks since 2013. Last night's broadcast peaked from 11:15-11:30 p.m. ET with a 5.6 rating.

In the San Francisco market, the broadcast generated a 14.9 rating, making it the highest-rated NBA regular-season game (non-Christmas) ever on ABC or ESPN. In Oklahoma City, the game delivered a 14.6 rating, making it the highest-rated NBA regular-season game on ABC or ESPN since 2014.

NBA Saturday Primetime on ABC will continue on March 5, when the Chicago Bulls host the Houston Rockets, at 8:30 p.m. Mike Breen, analysts Jeff Van Gundy and Mark Jackson and reporter Lisa Salters will provide commentary. NBA COUNTDOWN will precede the broadcast at 8 p.m. with Sage Steele, Jalen Rose and Doug Collins.
