Richard Cranor's new science-fiction/horror film STAR LEAF is in the Top 10 of one of the most popular Torrentz (Kickass Torrents) site in the world. The film has had more than 30,000 Youtube hits and climbing on the trailer in two days.

The film, the brainchild of Cranor (THE MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE) and former EARTH: THE FINAL CONFLICT star Robert Leeshock, has been applauded for its handling of PTSD.

STAR LEAF is currently out on DVD. Cranor (The Man in the High Castle) and Russell Hodgkinson (The Z Nation) star in what horror and sci-fi fans are calling "satisfying" (Ravenous Monster) with "Great character dynamics" (Bloody Disgusting).

IN STAR LEAF, a group of friends set off to find a secret forest of marijuana hidden deep in the Olympic Mountains. Legend has it the plants are of extra-terrestrial origin, and two ex-Marines among the group hope it will cure their PTSD born from hard combat in Afghanistan.
