Glamour Magazine has interviewed Lea Michele (GLEE's Rachel Berry) for the cover story of its October 2010 issue.

In the interview, Michele discusses her lifestyle ("I never was [a party girl].  Even in high school, that wasn't my scene"), the way she began performing ("I didn't know I could sing until I auditioned for Les Miserables...I felt no fear at all"), and her parents' opinions of her career ("I think they are incredibly proud and still in shock").

Michele also talks about her GLEE co-stars ("Cory [Monteith] is such a goofball" "[Amber Riley] inspires me, she protects me, she makes me laugh, she tells me not to take myself so seriously") and plans for Rachel for the show's second season ("I think we're going to see [what she's like] with a boyfriend. She's kind of inexperienced still, and I would like to see them together for a bit as a couple. I want to meet her dad-I really do. I think that they're saving that, though").

In addition to GLEE, Lea Michele has appeared in Broadway's SPRING AWAKENING, FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, RAGTIME, and LES MISERABLES.  She was nominated for an Emmy Award for her performance on GLEE.
