Lily Tomlin, Scott Wolf to Guest Star on NCIS

Multi award-winning actress Lily Tomlin is set to appear on NCIS this season.

Tomlin has been twice nominated for Academy Awards and has worked extensively with directors Robert Altman (in Nashville¸ Short Cuts and A Prairie Home Companion) and David O. Russell (Flirting with Disaster, I Heart Huckabees).

Her many TV appearances range from Laugh-In and Murphy Brown to Will & Grace and The West Wing, and her celebrated solo show The Search for Intelligent Signs of Life in the Universe won her one of her two Tonys. She also has been awarded four Emmys, a Grammy and two Drama Desk Awards.

Of her character on NCIS, Tomlin told TVLine that "She's a scientist, and she's very sharp."

Also guest starring on the hit TV show will be Scott Wolf. Wolf has appeared on Broadway in Side Man (John Golden Theatre). Regional credits include Marching Towards the Somme (Williamstown Theater Festival, and the Lincoln Center), and Far East and Dead End (Williamstown Theater Festival). He is also known for his work on "Party of Five," as well as "Everwood," "Spin City" and other shows.
