Liam Neeson in Negotiations for TAKEN 3?

According to Deadline, Liam Neeson is in negotiations to star in a third installment of the TAKEN franchise for EuropaCorp and 20th Century Fox. Neeson would return as retired CIA agent Bryan Mills, this time for around $20 million.

No word yet on whether Maggie Grace, who previously played Mills' daughter, or Famke Janssen, who played Mills' ex-wife, will sign on for the project. A director has not yet been chosen. The script is being written by the same team from the first two films -- Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen.

Filming will begin in February 2014.

Neeson will next appear in Khumba, Non-Stop, Anchorman: The Legend Continues, The Nut Job, A Walk Among the Tombstones, Third Person, The Prophet, The Lego Movie, A Million Ways to Die in the West, and Run All Night.

Past film credits include: The Dark Knight Rises, The Grey, Unknown, The Chronicles of Narnia films, Clash of the Titans, Five Minutes of Heaven, The Other Man, Batman Begins, Kingdom of Heaven, Kinsey, Love Actually, Gangs of New York, The Haunting, Schindler's List, Leap of Faith and more.

Neeson has appeared on Broadway in Camelot, The Play What I Wrote, The Crucible, Riverdance, The Judas Kiss and Anna Christie.
