Leslie Mann Joins Cast of Sofia Coppola's BLING RING

As first reported in The Hollywood Reporter, actors Leslie Mann and Israel Broussard have joined the cast of Sofia Coppola's upcoming film BLING RING. The actors join previously announced cast members Emma Watson, Katie Chang, Claire Pfister, Georgia Rock and Taissa Farmiga on the project.

The film is based on actual events about a group of teenagers who stole more $3 million worth of high-end designer jewelry from celebrities inclucing Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson, Orlando Bloom, Miranda Kerr, Brian Austin Green, Megan Fox and Lindsay Lohan.

Coppola will write and direct the feature film which will be produced by her brothers, Roman and Youree Henley. Fred Roos and Michael Zakin will executive produce.

Mann will portray a mother of two of the girls in the crime gang. Broussard will take on the male lead in the film. Shooting is expected to begin this spring in Los Angeles.

Mann's recent films include The Change-Up with Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman. She will next be seen on the big screen with Paul Rudd in 'This is 40', the sequel to the hit comedy 'Knocked Up.'

Broussard made his TV debut on ABC's Romantically Challenged and his film debut in Rob Reiner's coming-of-age drama Flipped. He was also featured in WWE's The Chaperone.
