Deadline reports that Katey Sagal is the latest actor to sign on to ABC's upcoming three-hour reboot of DIRTY DANCING.

The SONS OF ANARCHY star will portray "bungalow bunny" Vivian Pressman, decribed as "a former beauty queen who likes to seduce younger male staff members like Johnny (Colt Prattes) at the Kellerman resort. Recently divorced and fabulously wealthy, Vivian introduces Marjorie (Debra Messing) to the freedoms of being single, causing her to question her own marriage. Vivian isn't used to being rejected, so when Johnny calls things off to be with Baby (Abigail Breslin), she takes matters into her own hands. Miranda Garrison played the role in the 1987 movie."

The update of the 1987 blockbuster film will center on Baby, "an innocent young woman in the early 1960s who vacations with her affluent parents and siblings in the Catskills and falls for Johnny, the resort's charismatic dance instructor and leader of the working-class entertainment staff."

As BWW reported earlier, Billy Dee Williams, Sarah Hyland, Nicole Scherzinger, Trevor Einhorn, Debra Messing and Beau "Casper" Smart have previously signed on for the project, set to begin filming this week in North Carolina.

Sagal recently appeared on the big screen in Pitch Perfect 2 and narrated NBC's A to Z. She is perhaps best known for her role in FOX's MARRIED WITH CHILDREN.
