Josh Brolin may be heading to JURASSIC WORLD.

According to Deadline, the Oscar nominee is currently circling a role in the film. Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins and Nick Robinson are also in talks.

SAFETY NOT GUARANTEED's Colin Trevorrow will direct the film, featuring a script by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver. The film is currently slated for a June 12, 2015 release.

The first film, released originally in 1993, was recently re-released in 3D April 5. It starred Sam Neill, Laura Dern, Jeff Goldblum , Samuel L. Jackson and Richard Attenborough , the film based on the novel by Michael Crichton is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and Gerald R. Molen .

Brolin has starred in Gangster Squad, Jonah Hex, the upcoming Quasimodo, Crazy for the Storm and Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, as well as Inherent Vice, Oldboy, Labor Day and Everest. Gosling has also appeared in Gangster Squad, as well as The Place Beyond the Pines, Drive, Blue Valentine, Fracture, Half Nelson and more.
