E! Entertainment announced today that Jen Neal has been promoted to Executive Producer and will oversee the network's live events strategy and programming initiatives while continuing to serve as Executive Vice President, Marketing. In her new role as Executive Producer, Neal is responsible for E!'s signature franchise "Live from the Red Carpet," produced by Wilshire Studios and Ryan Seacrest Productions, in addition to the network's recently announced acquisition of "People's Choice Awards," which will be produced by Wilshire Studios and begin airing on E! in 2018. She will also oversee E!'s live coverage of tent pole events, including "New York Fashion Week" and "Met Gala." Neal will continue to report to E! President Adam Stotsky.

"Live events have been the heart of the E! brand for over two decades, and with Jen's appointment we are continuing to bolster our strategy to supercharge E!'s unparalleled red carpet coverage and re-imagine PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS for the next generation," said Stotsky. "Jen is a dynamic executive who has helped propel the network, and I'm thrilled that she will bring her creative vision and innovative approach to this new post as Executive Producer of Live Events."

As Executive Vice President, Marketing, Neal directs all marketing initiatives for E!, including advertising, media strategies, creative, brand alliances, and promotion across all platforms. Neal has continued to drive the ongoing success of E!'s popular unscripted franchises with creative marketing campaigns for "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," "Botched," "Total Divas," "WAGS," "Hollywood Medium with Tyler Henry" and "Famously Single," as well as the hit scripted series "The Royals" and "The Arrangement." In 2016, Neal launched E!'s multi-platform "Be Pop Cultured" campaign for "E! News," which reflected the brand's dominance as the news leader covering celebrity, movies, fashion, television, music and more. Neal has continued to innovate marketing and partnerships for "Live from the Red Carpet," as well as play a key leadership role in E!'s expanded presence at NYFW as the exclusive multi-platform partner for the high profile live event.

As Executive Producer, Neal will take on oversight of "Live from the Red Carpet" following the series' successful 2017 awards season with 165 million total engagements across platforms, +23% versus 2016. Ryan Seacrest will continue to serve as Host and Executive Producer of the popular series that delivers unmatched, multi-platform red carpet coverage and connects viewers around the globe with their favorite celebrities.

Neal will also direct all facets of E!'s recently announced acquisition of "People's Choice Awards," including the popular annual award show that celebrates the best in pop culture and is voted on entirely by fans, as well as "People's Choice Awards'" vast digital, social and voting platforms.

Prior to joining E!, Neal served as Chief Marketing Officer for BBDO NORTH AMERICA and was previously at Omnicom's PHD.
