James Corden, who will soon be seen in the role of 'The Baker' in the big screen adaptation of INTO THE WOODS, will soon take over as host of CBS's LATE LATE SHOW. This week's USA TODAY shared some of the Tony Award winners thoughts on his upcoming gig.

As the youngest host of late night television, the 36-year-old explains that it is, "our duty by definition to be the youngest and freshest show."

He also revealed that he wants to focus his attention on the social media-obsessed viewers who will be tuning in for his time slot. "I feel like that's the audience we have to try and service. We have to make a show for them and bring that audience back to actually engaging with television. That's something we have to look at as well as embracing the Internet and using the Internet and it being our friend."

He continued, "I would love to try and draw people back to a feeling of going, 'You've got to watch this show because I don't know what's going to happen tonight.' I want to be the person to share it tomorrow - I don't want to be the person who gets sent it tomorrow. That's our mind-set."

"The Late Late Show with James Corden" premieres Monday, March 23, 2015 on CBS.

Tony Award winner James Corden (Broadway's One Man Two Guvnors), a multi-faceted performer, host, writer and producer with accomplishments that span television, theater, film and comedy, will make his late night television debut as host of THE LATE LATE SHOW.

Corden comes to American television with a growing list of award-winning and critically acclaimed credits, including the highly anticipated feature film "Into the Woods" with Meryl Streep, which premieres Dec. 25, 2014.
