Hallmark's CEDAR COVE Season Finale Draws Over 3 Million Viewers

More than 3 million unduplicated total viewers tuned into Hallmark Channel for the October 12 season finale of its first original scripted series, "Cedar Cove", which delivered a 2.2 household rating. The closing episode was the highest rated premiere of the season among W25-54 and A25-54 delivery, and ranked as the top program on cable for Saturday (outside of sports). Over the 13-week run of "Cedar Cove" (7/20-10/13/13), the series averaged a 2.0 household rating, making Hallmark Channel the #1 cable network in the Saturday 8-9pm time period.

Following the "Cedar Cove" season finale, the premiere of "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" garnered a 1.5 household rating, reaching nearly 2.9 million unduplicated viewers. Serving as the backdoor pilot for Hallmark Channel's upcoming scripted series, "Signed, Sealed, Delivered" was the #1 cable movie of Saturday and #2 movie of the week.

In its time period (Saturday, 8-9pm), "Cedar Cove" was in the top 10 for household and key demographic ratings, including #2 in HH (2.2 rtg), #3 in W25-54 (.9 rtg), and #3 in P2+ (1.1 rtg). The series also ranked #3 in HH (1,906,000) and P2+ (2,364,000) for household and key demographic impressions. In its key demographic of W25-54, the episode average 424,000. The Saturday premiere of "Cedar Cove" elevated Hallmark Channel to be the #2 rated cable network in prime time among HH (1.7 HH rtg).

Christmastime is here in "Cedar Cove: Homecoming" and the town is a flurry of activity. Justine (Sarah Smyth) is shocked to learn that Warren (Brennan Elliott) is under investigation by the FBI for corrupt business deals and dishonest double-life. Meanwhile, Olivia (Andie MacDowell) and Jack (Dylan Neal) are happy to be back together after Jack makes Cedar Cove his permanent home. The reunited couple struggles to find Jack's son, Eric (guest star Tom Stevens), and help him take responsibility for his unborn daughter. When unexpected devastation hits Justine and Seth's new restaurant on Christmas day, the big heart of this small town is something everyone can count on.
