The Hollywood Reporter writes that HAND OF GOD's Alona Tal has joined the upcoming gay marriage drama film MODERN LOVE.

She will join previously announced Broadway star Anthony Rapp, as well as with Kate Walsh and Jonathan Bennett.

Joshua Tunick wrote and will direct the film, which follows "an intimate group of friends and family gathering at the home of two gay men to celebrate their nuptials. When the wedding hits a snag, the group helps the grooms to see that all marriages have their challenges."

Tal will play 'Emma', a surprise guest and an old friend of one of the grooms (Bennett).

Eric Kops, Dave Perkal and Tunick are producing.

Tal's upcoming big screen projects include NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: ORIGINS 3D and ONE SHOT. Among her TV credits are HAND OF GOD, BURN NOTICE, CULT, SUPERNATURAL, VERONICA MARS and more.
