GMA Host Lara Spencer to Guest on Tomorrow's DR. OZ

Tomorrow, October 6th, GOOD MORNING AMERICA anchor Lara Spencer opens up about her unexpected surgery and shares her pop news - health edition on DR. OZ. Check out a photo from the appearance at left!

On telling America about her need for surgery, Spencer says: "I felt a community, so many people reached out to me after I revealed that I had to do this. And I had to. Most people can just talk to their kids or their family, I live a public life."

On being unapologetic about her condition, Spencer says: "It just got to a place where I thought, 'there is no shame in being honest.' I'm young at heart and to me this is not an old person's problem, this is an active person's problem.

On tackling the injury head-on, Spencer says: "I decided to approach this like a sporting event. I knew I had a month in a half or almost two months to prepare, so I just got my core as strong as I possibly could so that when it came time for the recovery, I was as ready as I could possibly be.
