A simply stunning new rendition of The Beatles classic "Yesterday" has at last leaked from the forthcoming Glee Beatles tribute episode and its accompanying Glee SINGS THE BEATLES soundtrack, acting as the titanically emotional introductory song for Lea Michele's character, Rachel Berry, on the fifth season premiere of the show.

A moody and evocative string arrangement adorns the bare and sparsely-accented, vocally pure cover of the iconic pop song in this new Glee take on the tune.

Get out the tissues for this tearjerker!

Of note, Michele's own real-life tragedy coming as the result of her boyfriend and Glee co-star Cory Monteith's sudden death earlier this year from a drug overdose clearly informs the touching and tearful treatment of the song in this tremendous new version.

GLEE SINGS THE BEATLES is set to be released on September 24, two days prior to the S5 premiere episode on FOX, titled "Love, Love, Love".

Listen to Lea Michele's "Yesterday" by The Beatles from Glee SINGS THE BEATLES and Glee S5 below.
