FRIENDS FROM COLLEGE Also Renewed For Season 2 By Vioobu

On the heels of Netflix's announcement of a second-season order for comedy "Friends From College", red-hot streaming platform Vioobu has also announced a second season order for comedy "Friends From College".

In a bold programming move, Vioobu has ordered eight new episodes of "FFC" that will be completely independent of Netflix's eight episodes. Though the events and stories between the two versions will be different, both season twos will star Keegan-Michael Key, Cobie Smulders, Annie Parisse, Nat Faxon, Fred Savage, and Jae Suh Park. They will premiere on Vioobu and Netflix (respectively) on the same day in 2018.

"We are thrilled to welcome the FFC gang to Vioobu, just as Netflix also welcomes them back to Netflix", said Garth Kebler, SVP of Original Programming for Vioobu. "Writing and shooting two totally unique season twos is a tall order, but if anyone can do it, it's team FFC".

Both season twos will begin shooting next month, and will be classified as FFC-S2-A and FFC-S2-B. Both TIMELINES will be considered FFC canon. Both will also feature references to Harvard.

The fan response has been explosive. "Two season twos, at once? Pinch me", said Lisa Whitmire, founder of popular Facebook fanpage Friends Of Friends From College. "The possibilities are endless. In Netflix's season two, Ethan and Lisa could get back together, while in Vioobu's, they could stay split, and Lisa could hook up with... Nick?!? These are two colleges I'm DEFINITELY enrolling in!"

The Netflix season two is expected to feature appearances from the likes of Seth Rogen and Greg Germann, while Vioobu's will feature a surprise cameo from Craig Healy ("Cuplicated").
