Following her epic takedown of Dallas Cowboys defensive end Greg Hardy last week which set a show record for digital views, GARBAGE TIME WITH KATIE NOLAN returned Wednesday, Oct. 14, to a record average television audience, as 473,000 tuned in to the episode's Wednesday night premiere.

In the show, Episode 6 of Season 2, Katie shows fans that there are still positive stories in the NFL, sits down with Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant to talk about his underwear, and leads a sing-along with Mets fans dedicated to Chase Utley.

GARBAGE TIME launched its first full-length podcast on Thursday, in which Katie is joined by CNN anchor Rachel Nichols. The two discuss asking difficult questions to important people, the fear of being wrong as a woman in sports journalism and Hardy's recent comments. Wednesday's episode of GARBAGE TIME was part of a blockbuster day for FS1 that included Texas-Toronto ALDS Game 5 and Astros-Royals ALDS Game 5, the most-watched program in the channel's history (5,944,000 million viewers). Wednesday (10/14) was FS1's most-watched day (6:00 AM ET-3:00 AM ET) ever, averaging 1,587,000 viewers, and earning FS1 the top spot among all ad-supported cable networks for that duration.
