Encore telecasts of "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" and "Late Night with Seth Meyers" have dominated the late-night ratings week of April 18-22, topping their mostly original ABC and CBS time-period competition in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. Note that Friday's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "Late Late Show with James Corden" were encores.
Fallon won five of five nights for the week versus CBS's "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert" and ABC's "Kimmel" in adults 18-49. For the week, "Tonight" encores outscored Colbert in 18-49 by a +53% advantage (with a 0.75 rating vs. a 0.49) and Kimmel by a +63% margin (0.75 vs. 0.46). Meyers' "Late Night" rebroadcasts generated a +29% margin in 18-49 over Corden (0.40 vs. 0.31) and a +36% advantage over ABC's "Nightline" (0.45 vs. 0.33 in their 12:30-1 a.m. head-to-head half-hour). Season to date, Fallon and Meyers have outdelivered their ABC and CBS time-period competition for 31 of 31 weeks in both adults 18-49 and total viewers.
