Electus International Inks Multi-title Deal With Sony Pictures Television's AXN Black
Multimedia entertainment studio Electus, an operating business of IAC (IACI), today announces that its global distribution arm, Electus International, has sold six programs to AXN Black, a new channel from Sony Pictures Television (SPT) Networks, for Central Europe. This marks the first major deal with SPT Networks for Electus International in Central Europe.
The deal will include more than 100 hours of programming, featuring The Following titles:
- Dog and Beth: On the Hunt
- The Hero
- Car Lot Rescue
- Duck Commander
- Meat Eater
- Unsealed Conspiracy.
Launching in October 2013, AXN Black will offer scripted and unscripted action series to countries across Central Europe including Poland, Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Dog and Beth: On the Hunt currently airs in the USA on CMT Sundays at 8:00 PM Eastern Time. The network recently picked up an additional 11 episodes, bringing the reality show's freshman season to 22 episodes. Through 11 premieres, the show, starring Bounty Hunters 'Dog' and Beth Chapman, averaged 713,000 total viewers, currently making it CMT's top series of 2013.
The Hero, a reality competition series starring Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson challenges 10 competitors morally, physically and mentally to see if they have what it takes to be heroes. Domestically airing on TNT, the show drew more than 1.5 million viewers for its June premiere.
