ESPN is the home of the 2017 NCAA Division I Ice Hockey Championship including the Regionals (March 24-26) and Frozen Four (April 6-8), continuing the company's long-standing tradition of covering the sport's pinnacle event. This season will be ESPN's 23rd year televising the Frozen Four and the 13th covering every game from the 15-game Championship.

ESPN will televise regular season games from Big Ten home rinks leading into the Championship, beginning Sunday, October 16, when No. 9 Boston College travels to Wisconsin (4 p.m. on ESPNU). Additional games, which will air in December, January and early March, will include No. 8 Minnesota and No. 13 Michigan multiple times

Sean Ritchlin, a two-time national champion at Michigan, will be the color analyst for each of the regular season games. John Buccigross, who will once again be THE VOICE of the Frozen Four, and Kevin Brown will both call play-by-play during the regular season, with Brown calling this weekend's game in Madison.
