Disney Channel is TV's #1 Total Day Network for 36th-Consecutive Month

During April 2014, Disney Channel, the 24-hour kid-driven, family-inclusive television network, ranked as TV's #1 network for the 36th-consecutive month in Kids 6-11 (447,000/1.9 rating) and for the 48th-straight month in Tweens 9-14 (389,000/1.6 rating), driven by the "2014 Radio Disney Music Awards" and popular original series, including "Jessie," "Dog With A Blog," "Liv and Maddie" and "I Didn't Do It."

Competitively, Disney Channel exceeded Nickelodeon by solid double digits for the 34th-consecutive month in Tweens 9-14 (+52% - 389,000 vs. 256,000) and for the 33rd time in the previous 34 months in Kids 6-11 (+15% - 447,000 vs. 389,000).

In Prime, Disney Channel extended its streak as TV's #1 network to 110-consecutive months in Kids 6-11 (746,000/3.1 rating) and to 106-straight months in Tweens 9-14 (649,000/2.7 rating).

In its first-ever televised event, "Disney Channel Presents the Radio Disney Music Awards" (RDMAs) stood as the month's #1 TV telecast among Kids 6-11 (1.4 million/6.0 rating) and Tweens 9-14 (1.4 million/5.6 rating) and was the #1 live-action telecast in Kids 2-11 (1.7 million/4.3 rating), - based on Live + Same Day ratings.

24-Hour Disney Junior channel
24-hour Disney Junior channel ranked as the TV's #1 Total Day preschool-dedicated network for the 13th-straight month in Total Viewers (381,000), Kids 2-5 (187,000/1.2 rating) and Boys 2-5 (98,000/1.2 rating) - every month since reporting public ratings on April 1, 2013 - for the 10th-consecutive month in Girls 2-5 (89,000/1.2 rating) and for the 11th month in a row in Women 18-49 (70,000).

For the 4th-consecutive month, "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse," "Sheriff Callie's Wild West" and "Sofia the First" were the Top 3 stripped series among midsize cable TV networks in Kids 2-5:

Disney Junior channel surpassed Nick Jr. by double digits across all core demos: +18% in Total Viewers (381,000 vs. 322,000), +19% in Kids 2-5 (187,000 vs. 157,000), +11% in Girls 2-5 (89,000 vs. 80,000), +27% in Boys 2-5 (98,000 vs. 77,000) and +21% in Women 18-49 (70,000 vs. 58,000), despite being in 11.4 million fewer homes.

Disney Junior channel exceeded Sprout by triple digits for the 13th-straight month among Total Viewers (+176% - 381,000 vs. 138,000), Kids 2-5 (+192% - 187,000 vs. 64,000), Girls 2-5 (+178% - 89,000 vs. 32,000), Boys 2-5 (+197% - 98,000 vs. 33,000) and Women 18-49 (+180% - 70,000 vs. 25,000).
