'Director's Cut' Encore Broadcast of '60 Minutes' HAMILTON Report Set for Tony Night!

Fans of Hamilton who have not had a chance to see the Broadway hit may want to watch Sunday's 60 MINUTES - it could be their last chance to see Lin-Manuel Miranda, the show's creator, acting in the title role!

HAMILTON is still the hardest ticket to get on Broadway and Miranda will move on later this summer. 60 MINUTES will offer a "director's cut" that's nearly double the length of Charlie Rose's original report first broadcast last November.

The previously unseen additions include more of the interviews with Miranda, the cast, and more material and performance footage from the show that's up for a record 16 Tony Awards. "Hamilton," the 60 MINUTES encore in two-parts, will be broadcast Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.

HAMILTON is the recipient of a record-breaking 16 Tony nominations including Best Musical. The cast of Hamilton is comprised of Lin-Manuel Miranda (Alexander Hamilton), Daveed Diggs(Marquis De Lafayette,Thomas Jefferson), Renée Elise Goldsberry (Angelica Schuyler),Christopher Jackson (George Washington), Rory O'Malley (King George), Jasmine Cephas Jones (Peggy Schuyler, Maria Reynolds), Javier Muñoz (Hamilton alternate), Okieriete Onaodowan(Hercules Mulligan, James Madison), Leslie Odom, Jr. (Aaron Burr),Anthony Ramos(John Laurens, PhilipHamilton) and Phillipa Soo (Eliza Hamilton).

With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical direction and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow's biography of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.

HAMILTON is the story of America's Founding Father Alexander Hamilton, an immigrant from the West Indies who became George Washington's right-hand man during the Revolutionary War and was the new nation's first Treasury Secretary. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, blues, rap, R&B, and Broadway,HAMILTON is the story of America then, as told by America now.
