Corbin Bleu In Rehearsal For DANCING WITH THE STARS

Stage and screen star Corbin Bleu is one of many recognizable entertainers participating in the new season of ABC's long-running DANCING WITH THE STARS and the talented and charismatic performer was spotted in rehearsals earlier this week.

Sharing the stage - or, in this case, the rehearsal room - with DANCING WITH THE STARS standout and his partner, Karina Smirnoff, Bleu and Smirnoff exhibit an easy affability and readily apparent rapport even at this very early stage of the competition.

Besides his early-career HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL fame, triple-threat Bleu is noted for his theatrical appearances, including starring in the Tony Award-winning IN THE HEIGHTS on Broadway as part of the first replacement cast as well as appearing in the recent revival of GODSPELL, so perhaps his Broadway training will come in handy with this new dance-heavy assignment in front of a national audience.

The new season of DANCING WITH THE STARS - the show's seventeenth - premieres Monday, September 16 at 8 PM on ABC.
