CONFIRMED! Channing Tatum to Portray 'Gambit' in Upcoming X-MEN Film

After months of rumors, "X-Men" producer Lauren Shuler Donner told Total Film confirmed the news that actor Tatum Channing will indeed take on the role of Remy LeBeau a.k.a. Gambit, described as "a mutant with total control of energy." (check out the interview here!)

"He's a rogue. Channing, he's a rascal, just like Remy LeBeau," said Donner adding, "And he can handle the action. We all know that. And he's got a really good heart."

Tatum is best known for his roles in the films Step Up (2006), G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra (2009), Dear John (2010), The Vow (2012), 21 Jump Street (2012), and Magic Mike (2012). He has also appeared in films such as Coach Carter (2005), She's the Man (2006), A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints (2006), Fighting (2009), The Dilemma (2011), The Eagle (2011), G.I. Joe: Retaliation (2013), and White House Down (2013).
