CBS's THE PRICE IS RIGHT Announces Nationwide Contestant Search

CBS Entertainment's Daytime Emmy Award-winning game show THE PRICE IS RIGHT, network television's #1-rated daytime series and the longest-running game show, will kick-off its sixth annual nationwide contestant search Tuesday, August 12 in Pittsburgh. Those chosen will appear as contestants during the 43rd season of the game show. The contestant search will visit Boston on Thursday, Sept. 18; San Francisco on Sunday, Sept. 21 and Philadelphia on Friday, Sept. 26.

In each market where a casting call takes place, representatives from participating local CBS owned or affiliated stations will be on hand to interview and videotape contestant hopefuls who are vying for free trips to Los Angeles and guaranteed spots in THE PRICE IS RIGHT'S studio audience. Two participants will be selected from each market to fly to Los Angeles and attend a taping of the legendary game show, beginning fall 2015. A bidder's spot on Contestants' Row will be guaranteed to one of the two participants who will learn if they are selected to "Come On Down" when they hear their name called during the show's taping.
