CBS's LIFE IN PIECES is Monday's Most-Watched New Program

The series premiere of LIFE IN PIECES opened with 11.52 million viewers, Monday's most-watched new program, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for Sept. 21.

At 8:30 PM, LIFE IN PIECES (P) debuted as CBS's most-watched Monday comedy premiere since 2011 (TWO BROKE GIRLS). In demos, LIFE IN PIECES averaged a strong 2.7/09 in adults 18-49 and a 3.8/10 among adults 25-54.

At 8:00 PM, the season premiere of THE BIG BANG THEORY averaged 17.78m, 4.5/16 in adults 18-49 and 6.3/18 in adults 25-54, ranking as the most-watched and highest-rated program of the night in key demos.
