CBS THIS MORNING posted double-digit percentage gains among adults 25-54 (+14%, 0.8/07 from 0.7/06), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, viewers (+11%, 3.18m from 2.86m), women 25-54 (+13%, 0.9/07 from 0.8/06) and women 18-49 (+20%, 0.6/06 from 0.5/05) compared to a year ago for the week ending July 10.

According to Nielsen live plus same-day ratings, CBS THIS MORNING added +320,000 viewers year-over-year, bringing the viewership gap with NBC to only 871,000 viewers. This week marks the closest competitive position to NBC for a CBS MORNING NEWS broadcast in nearly 21 years (since the week ending 7/29/94).

Television year-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING is the only network morning news broadcast posting gains in adults 25-54 (+13%, 0.9/07 from 0.8/06) and viewers (+9%, 3.37m from 3.08m) compared to last year.

CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY

On Saturday, July 11, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY posted double-digit percentage gains in adults 25-54 (+20%, 0.6/05 from 0.5/04), the demographic most important to those who advertise in news, and viewers (+13%, 2.28m from 2.01m) compared to the same week the year before, according to Nielsen live plus same-day ratings. This was the broadcast's largest audience since February 21, 2015.

Television year-to-date, CBS THIS MORNING: SATURDAY is the only Saturday morning network broadcast posting gains in viewers (+9%, 2.10m from 1.92m) compared to last year.
