CBS Sweeps Thursday in Viewers and Key Demos

The Thursday premiere of BIG BROTHER was Thursday's top broadcast in key demographics while the third season premiere of UNDER THE DOME led all scripted drama competition in viewers and key demographics, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for June 25.

At 8PM, the premiere of BIG BROTHER THURSDAY (P) was first in adults 25-54 (2.4/08), adults 18-49 (2.0/08), adults 18-49 (1.5/08), the night's top prime broadcast in these measures, and second in viewers (6.41m).

From 9:00-11:00PM, the third season premiere of UNDER THE DOME (P) was first in viewers (6.19m), adults 25-54 (1.8/06) and adults 18-49 (1.3/05). UNDER THE DOME was the night's top scripted program in viewers and key demos, winning every half hour against a crowded night of original drama competition that included, "Astronaut's Wives Club," "Mistresses," the season premiere of "Rookie Blue;" "Aquarius," "Hannibal" and "Wayward Pines."

For the night, CBS was first in viewers (6.26m), adults 25-54 (2.0/07) and adults 18-49 (1.5/06).
