CBS Sweeps Nominations for 41st ANNUAL DAYTIME EMMY AWARDS

CBS swept the Daytime Emmy Nominations today with 60 nods. The #1 daytime drama, THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, received 26 nominations, more than any other show. CBS received more nominations than any other network.

In addition, The Bold and the Beautiful received 18 nominations, The Talk received five, LET'S MAKE A DEAL and CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD both received three, THE PRICE IS RIGHT received two nominations and CBS This Morning received one. Two shows from the CBS DREAM TEAM! IT'S EPIC! Saturday morning lineup received one nomination each.

CBS Daytime's entire entertainment lineup was honored, with The Young and the Restless and The Bold and the Beautiful both receiving nominations for Outstanding Drama Series. The Talk was nominated for Outstanding Talk Show/Entertainment as well as Outstanding Talk Show Host, THE PRICE IS RIGHT and LET'S MAKE A DEAL were both nominated for Outstanding Game Show, and LET'S MAKE A DEAL host Wayne Brady was nominated for Outstanding Game Show Host.

CBS SUNDAY MORNING WITH CHARLES OSGOOD received three nominations, including Outstanding Morning Program. In addition, CBS News' CBS This Morning received its first-ever Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Morning Program.

The Network's new Saturday morning lineup also received nominations for Game Changers With Kevin Frazier for Outstanding Children's Series and Lucky Dog for Outstanding Special Class Series.

Other top nominations include Outstanding Lead Actor nominations for Y&R's Peter Bergman, who is the most nominated male actor in daytime with a record 19 nominations, as well as Doug Davidson, Christian LeBlanc and Billy Miller. In addition, B&B's Heather Tom and original cast member Katherine Kelly Lang both received Outstanding Lead Actress nominations.

CBS Daytime has been #1 in the day-part for 27 consecutive years, featuring a balance of dramas, game shows and talk. The Network's daytime lineup includes Network television's #1 daytime program and longest-running game show THE PRICE IS RIGHT, the #1 daytime drama The Young and the Restless as well as THE TALK, The Bold and the Beautiful and LET'S MAKE A DEAL.
