Bryan Cranston & More Set For ALL THE WAY Talkback, 2/23Broadway headliner and multi-award-winning small screen star Bryan Cranston stars as President Lyndon B. Johnson in the new Broadway drama ALL THE WAY and the actor joins a number of other notable names in an extended discussion about the themes of this play in a day-long talkback later this month.

AMERICA AT THE TURNING POINT: CONVERSATIONS ON ALL THE WAY will present a series of discussions on the new play and its themes, featuring Cranston alongside the playwright himself, Robert Schenkkan, and many more.

The official description of the ALL THE WAY talkback is as follows: "ALL THE WAY, a new play by Pulitzer Prize winner Robert Schenkkan that shines a light on President Lyndon B. Johnson's first year in office, explores the year 1964 as a turning point in American history. In this symposium, panels of experts including eminent historians, civil rights leaders, government officials, dramatists, and policy pundits will examine the complex life and legacy of Lyndon Johnson, the events and echoes of the African-American civil rights movement, the issues inherent in the dramatist's adaptation of life into art, and the indelible impact that the events of 1964 had on America and its course in history. Speakers include star Bryan Cranston, the civil rights leader Bob Moses (Freedom Summer), Doris Kearns Goodwin, Gerry Hudson (SEIU), Robert Schenkkan (playwright), Stanley Nelson (who made a recent Sundance Festival documentary on Freedom Summer), and more."

Of note, the ALL THE WAY talkback occurs on February 23 from 12 PM to 7:30 PM at New World Stages.
