Bravo Promotes Ellen Stone to Executive Vice President, Marketing

Ellen Stone has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Marketing, it was announced today by Frances Berwick, President, Bravo and Style Media to whom she reports. Stone was previously Senior Vice President of Marketing for the network.

A seven year vet at Bravo, Stone is an integral member of the senior management team and has been instrumental in shaping the network's overall strategy and brand identity. She oversees and directs marketing initiatives for consumer advertising, ad sales, digital and social media and the on-air and off-air creative to ensure consistency of Bravo's brand across all platforms.

As her role has expanded, Stone added licensing and merchandising, developing several brand extensions for Top Chef including a frozen food line with Healthy Choice, Top Chef: The Cruise and a pop up restaurant, Top Chef Kitchen. She also oversees tune-in and brand campaigns like the successful "Summer By Bravo" initiative, now in its fourth year and spearheaded the network's innovative digital marketing partnerships with sites including Four Square, Twitter, Youtube and Facebook.

"Ellen is a multi-faceted executive with an extremely creative vision," said Berwick. "She has helped propel Bravo to a Top Ten network with exciting ways to engage our audience and keep the brand fresh, distinctive and relevant."

Stone joined Bravo in 2006 as Vice President, Consumer Marketing. Previously, she served as Director, Consumer Marketing at Lifetime Entertainment Services, where she was responsible for managing all off-air consumer marketing efforts for Lifetime Television. Prior, Stone worked at Bozell Worldwide, where she served as Partner and Management Supervisor of the National Fluid Milk Program, overseeing strategic and creative operations of the Dairy Management Milk Board. Earlier, Stone worked at J. Walter Thompson, first as Senior Account Executive for the Bell Atlantic Corporation and then, as Partner, Account Supervisor on Unilever Pepsi-Lipton Tea Partnership, Lipton, Lever 2000, and Wisk. Stone joined Bozell Worldwide from Wells Rich Greene BDDP, where she served as Senior Account Executive for International Business Machines. She began her career at Margeotes Fertitta & Partners where she served as Sr. Media Planner, before being made an Account Executive.
