Deadline reports that Billy Eichner, best known for his truTV series 'Billy on the Street' has signed on to the seventh season of FX's AMERICAN HORROR STORY. The actor and comedian will appear in a "heavily recurring role" opposite previously announced cast members Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters.

While details of his character have not been revealed, sources say he will portray "a close confidant of Paulson's character and will mostly be wearing mysterious tank tops." The site reports that Eichner will appear in 6-7 of the 11 episodes in Season 7, which begins production in May. Thus far, all that is known about the latest installment of Ryan Murphy's hit anthology series is that it will take place in the aftermath of the recent presidential election, with the first episode taking place on election night.

Eichner can currently be seen in the Hulu comedy series DIFFICULT PEOPLE and previously co-starred on NBC's Parks & Recreation.
