I'll put a spell on you and now you're mine! Disney's HOCUS POCUS is the Halloween movie that defined a generation and now, Bette Midler is telling fans there's no plan for a Hocus Pocus sequel to ever happen.

In a recent Live Facebook Q&A, Midler tackled the question of a sequel head on. The award-winning actress was asked about the possible sequel to the cult-classic movie. A fan asked, "Is there gonna be a Hocus Pocus 2?" to which Midler responded: "After all these years and all the fan demand, I DO believe I can stand and firmly say an unequivocol no."

Earlier this month, Midler discussed the possibility of a sequel on her Twitter account. She wrote, "Breaking news!! SEQUEL DELAYED!!! @Disney having trouble finding a virgin!"

This isn't the first time Midler has addressed Hocus Pocus sequel rumors. In a 2014 Reddit AMA, Midler told fans that the fate of a sequel was in the hands of the Walt Disney Company and tht herself and her co-stars Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy would be willing to reprise their roles of the Sanderson Sisters.

"You have to go to send in your cards to the Walt Disney company. The ball's in their court," Midler told fans. She added, "Inundate the Disney company...because I have canvassed the girls and they are wiling [sic] to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a Hocus Pocus 2, ask the Walt Disney company. You have been SO adorable. This has been most enlightening. SISTAHS!"

HOCUS POCUS stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Majimy as a trio of witches, the Sanderson Sisters, who are inadvertently resurrected by a cynical teenager, his younger sister and his girlfriend in the small town of Salem, MA.
