Mindy, Mindy, Mindy... when will you learn that any form of texting with Cliff leads to nothing but trouble? In continuing with the IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY guest star marathon, Glenn Howerton is back to throw a wrench in the happy couple's new relationship. Can Mindy convince her former boyfriend/lawyer to help her with her tax problems?

Danny is pretty Type A when it comes to his apartment. (Where are these Schimdt and Danny type guys who are obsessed with cleanliness?) As hard as Mindy tries she cannot leave her stuff at his place. Trying his best to compromise, he offers her a rolling suitcase. When a tax problem comes up at the office (the tax problem being that Mindy hasn't paid them in six years), Mindy is forced to turn to her ex-boyfriend, Cliff, to help her save the practice. Cliff, still a little miffed that she cheated on him with Danny, is reluctant to help her. Mindy tells Cliff that Danny cheated on her and broke up with her causing Cliff to reconsider. She runs into Cliff (and Brendan) in the elevator at work and Danny plays into the lie and teases her. (The elevator in that building sees more drama than most soap operas.) Mindy secretly goes out with Cliff and thinking they are broken up, he reveals to Mindy that Danny is still married. Danny confesses it is the truth and Cliff agrees to handle his divorce for him in exchange for Danny's prize possession. Mindy? No, his authentic seat from the original Yankee Stadium.

Peter, trying to take the high road, has begun speaking to Jeremy again after he made out with his girlfriend. Peter decides to be devoted to Lauren but, she has other plans and breaks up with him. She assures him it is not for Jeremy. After doing some investigating, Peter finds out that they are on a date together. Peter reports Jeremy to immigration and then finds out that Lauren also broke up with him. Feeling badly, Peter calls off the investigation (can you do that?). Jeremy gets to stay in the US and Lauren, realizing how much she didn't want Jeremy to leave agrees to keep dating Jeremy.

Cliff finalizes Danny's divorce for him and takes the Yankee seat to go burn it. He's a Red Sox fan. He also calls Danny out for not letting Mindy keep anything at his apartment. He doesn't think they're that serious if Mindy has nothing at Danny's apartment. With both of their legal woes cleared up, Danny buys a cute pink dresser for Mindy to keep her things in at his apartment. I'm not ashamed to admit, I swooned.

These two just get better and better. Am I gushing too much? I just really enjoy their relationship. I like that it's flawed and they fight and they work at it but they are also really sweet to each other and make fun of each other. It's such great writing.

And where does this leave poor Peter? Finally settling down with a mature woman in a real relationship and he gets screwed over. I doubt this is going to go well for his psyche. This was a real Morgan-light episode and I'm never fond of those. And not even a glimpse of Tamra? Thankfully, the cuteness factor of Danny and Mindy more than made up for it.

MVP - Peter's impression of Jeremy in accents ranging from Austin Powers to Shrek to Borat just to name a few.

Runner Up - Danny Castellano crying over selling his Yankee seat.

Favorite Lines:

  • Mindy - I've completely stopped eating, as you can tell. I'm so thin. God, it's so cold in here.

  • Danny - Your kisses are for three things: Your ma, your girl and your wrestling coach after you win regionals.

  • Danny - You better start thinking about ways to make it up to me. Mindy - Rizzo? You want me to dress up like Rizzo from Grease? That is demeaning, Danny. Danny - How about Frenchie?

  • Guy answering phone - Downtown Neurological Partners. If this is an emergency, please call the Tribeca insane asylum.

  • Mindy - If I spend the night with a married man, it's gonna be because it got my kid into prep school.

Three episodes in and this show is going strong. I am, as always, hoping for more Morgan-centric plotlines and it will definitely be interesting to see where Jeremy and Peter's friendship and work relationship goes from here. Also, does anyone know where I can get that pink dresser? I'm sure if Danny picked it up in a designer boutique in New York it's reasonably priced, right? What were your thoughts? Let me know here or on Twitter @eponineq.
