That was a LOT of information in this week's episode of "Teen Wolf." This show can never be accused of having slow episodes, my goodness.

Four weeks prior to last episode, Kate Argent and her band of misfits are on a brutal search for the Benefactor and his Orphan Assassins. Back at Beacon Hills High, post lacrosse blood bath, Daddy McCall finally shows up again to be a supportive dad as well as investigate the brutal near-slayings in the locker room. Everyone is on the lookout for Garrett. Deputy Parrish is leading Lydia off in cuffs and she recognizes his name from the kill list.

Over at Deaton's office, Stiles, Derek, and the good doc are trying to keep Brett still so Deaton can release the fatal wolfsbane from his chest. Derek, rapidly losing his wolfiness has trouble maintaining his hold on him. Brett escapes briefly only to be thwarted by Peter who is having WAY too much fun at Derek's expense. Brett is saved. Before slipping into unconsciousness he mumbles the ever popular "The Sun, The Moon, The Truth" motto that everyone has been mumbling just before dying. But Derek recognizes it: Satomi! (Remember that seemingly out-of-place World War II episode?) Derek enlists the help of Malia and offers to train her to follow scents as his skills are quickly vanishing. They set off into the woods to find Brett's pack headed by Alpha Satomi. When their investigation leads them nowhere, Malia suggests switching it up and searching for Buddhists instead of wolves. Her instincts are correct and they find the pack...dead! As well as a barely alive mercenary, Braeden.

Scott discovers a duffle bag full of money in Garrett's locker. He does not let Liam in on this discovery as he overhears his Mom's money troubles at home. (Um, doesn't Daddy McCall have a big government job? He can't pay an electric bill here or there?)

As Liam and Mason bond about what tools their besties Garrett and Violet turned out to be, Liam gets a surge of energy and takes off by himself. When will these guys learn that jogging in the woods NEVER leads to anything positive? And it holds true; Liam is promptly hit by a car...driven by Garrett. Scott soon discovers Liam has been taken captive and all Garrett wants is the millions of dollars back and Violet to be returned to him. Scott, the Alpha that he is, agrees to Garrett's crazy plan to break Violet out of custody during a prison transfer. When the plan is in effect, they come upon the car to find that Kate and her muscle have already arrived. Sheriff Stalinsky and Daddy McCall are severely injured and Violet is missing. Garrett tries to take on the Berserkers and well...RIP, little orphan assassin. Guess the sun won't be coming out tomorrow for you.

Stiles and Lydia approach Deputy Parrish with the kill list where he is shocked to see his name included. After some convincing, he escorts them back to Eichen where he bullies the orderly into letting them in to see Meredith. After pleading for the third key, Meredith loses it and almost bursts Lydia's eardrums in the process. Defeated, they return home without the password. Stiles handles Lydia with his usual preciousness as they try to decipher the final code. Stiles reminds Lydia that since banshees predict death, maybe the password is of someone who will die. She concentrates and slowly types D-E-R-E-K. Oh dear...but it works. And Meredith is on the list. They call Parrish to warn him but he informs them they are too late. Meredith is dead. (Death toll is HIGH in this episode).

After being attacked by Kate's demon guard, Scott wakes up in Deaton's office with a...bone in his chest? Chris Argent promptly removes it, but Scott uses it to follow the scent to discover Kate's location. Chris and Scott find Kate and her thugs, and proceed to fight them. Scott discovers Violet dead along with his hopes of finding Liam. The Berserker is about to kill Chris but Kate stops him. Aw...sibling love. In the interim, Liam pulls off a Bruce Wayne-esque escape from his well-prison and Scott is able to retrieve him. Scott decides he's tired of death and he's going to save everyone! I mean that's realistic, right?

Peter discovers Kate and offers to teach her control in exchange for money and of course, Power. Oh that Peter, so incorrigible.

Things I know:

Is the Benefactor as obvious as I think it is? I've been wrong before...

Is Mason the non-supernatural, clueless character ala Matt on "TVD?"

Kate's 'lair' would be a great setting for a Beyonce video.

Things I don't know:

Where was Kira? I know she was concerned about her parents, but a LOT happened with her new FF that I think she would want to be present for, no?

I know Violet is a brutal killer, but did Daddy McCall have to play the Orphan card?

Will we see more of Brett? He's packless now, right?

Weirder sibling relationship, Derek and Peter? Kate and Chris?

How do they get away with missing so many classe?

Lines I love:

Coach - "If anybody sees Garrett, notify the police immediately. Then tell him he's off the damn team."

Peter - "I guess I still have a little werewolf strength myself."

Parrish - "I'm only worth $5?"

Stiles - "$5 Million"

Parrish - "I only make $40,000 a year. Maybe I should kill myself..."

Also, "I'm laying claim to the band names 'The Benefactor and the Orphan Assassins' and 'Kate and the Berserkers' tonight! Next year: Burning Man!!!"

Thoughts? What did I miss??? Let me know in the comments below. Tune in next week to MTV for Episode 7 at 10/9 central.
